Flu vaccination
The NHS flu vaccine is available to people who are at increased risk of becoming seriously unwell from flu. This includes:
Adults aged 65 and over
People aged 18–64 with certain eligible health conditions
Pregnant women
People living in long-stay residential care
Frontline health and social care workers and NHS staff
Unpaid and young carers
Household contacts of people with a weakened immune system
Certain other eligible groups, including people experiencing homelessness and some occupational groups
COVID-19 vaccination
For winter 2026/27, NHS COVID-19 vaccination is offered to a smaller group of people at greatest risk of serious illness:
Adults aged 75 and over
Residents of care homes for older adults
People aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system
